ABOUT ME
Hi there! I’m Andrew.
I am a Musician and Instrumental Tutor currently based in Edinburgh/Midlothian. I have been playing guitar and drums for over 10 years and working as a professional musician for 4 of them. During my four years at university I gained experience tutoring guitar and I have started teaching professionally since the beginning of 2025. I am fully PVG certified and insured by The Musician's Union.

Since graduating with a First Class from Napier's prestigious Popular Music course in 2024. I have focused in many musical areas since then, playing drums and guitar in various creative projects and function gigs to a high standard as well as composing my own songs and parts for other people.

First Class Degree in Popular Music
My studies at Napier involved honing my skills on guitar, collaborating with other musicians, performing technically challenging songs as well as my own compositions and improving my educational practice.
Distinction in Grade 8 Guitar, Grade 5 Theory, Advanced Higher Music
Before attending University I had to take on the above qualifications. This means I am well placed to help any student who is looking to pursue any similar qualifications.
Current Projects
Passerbys: Guitar
Jazz guitar and vocal duo based in Edinburgh. Performed in various locations such as Decanter, The Three Sisters and George IV bar.
The Cowards: Drums and Guitar
Indie Rock band which frequently gigs around the central belt of Scotland , they record and release all their material independently.
